Bought my first x5 need professional opinion.

Hi everyone I'm new on this site and relatively new to bmw ownership experience. I just bought a 2002 BMW X5 4.6is with 76k miles on it. I'll be taking it to a shop to have all fluids replaced just for my piece of mind. My question is should I change transmission oil/filter or leave it?
What other items would you suggest replacing at this point? Last time all fluids were changed was 2012 at 60k along with valve cover gaskets. In terms of faults I only have a faulty coolant level sensor and telescopic steering inoperable everything else works so far.
Any recommendations as to a reputable shop in NYC area? Thanks in advance for your input. I wish I could figure out how to upload pics.

My professional opinion: Yes, you are crazy!

Just had another window clip break passing through armed security at work. Always a good day when you make those guys nervous with sharp noises and unexpected movement!

As for telescopic steering wheel not working is due do faulty driver side power seat switch. Replace that and telescopic will work.

I personally strongly advise that you should look into timing chain guide.

Are there any early indicators of chain guides failing or they just happen?
