e53 DIS5.7 water pump short to positive

Hi all,
Renewed the water pump, pulley and fan clutch topped up coolant
and bled the coolant

I connected DIS 5.7 and it stated: "water pump short to positive"
Anyone know where I look for the (short) connector ??
a photo would be fantastic if possible?
