What's the most ocd thing you do?

For me by far it's making sure the emblem on the key is facing me each time I start it.

ps in terms of your x5

If in a clean car (any car). I'll pull over and towel off the car with quick detail spray after driving through a puddle.

Be glad you don't live in Seattle. There will literally be puddles even if it hasn't rained for weeks

Portland makes me feel depressed when it rains 10 minutes after I wash my 4.6is , as for my ocd moment it's pressing the check control button, folding my mirrors everytime I park, driving like a grandmother to conserve my transmission.

wpoll will become famous soon enough
I hear you re. the key thing - me too- and it goes even further - the X5 key ring has to face the correct way too!

That and I have to switch the MID to CONSUM1, check the value then switch it back to clock. Can't drive without it being on clock.

We need help....

I thought I was the only one doing that. I hate it when someone else starts the car and the key isn't in the "correct" position

that actually does more damage than you think. the proper way is to let it idle for about a minute then drive easy until it reaches temp
