You will get much better gas mileage as well. Mine went from 18 to 21 highway when I replaced my Thermo

Yes it did. However, unfortunately I to part ways with my E53 recently. It started showing symptoms of a pending tranny failure. I replaced it with a CPO E70... so far so good.

Tranny fail safe mode and some times no gear selection. It had a upwards of 150k on it so I decided against putting anymore in it.
