Cross-roads
Hummmmm the meter thing might be a little above my pay-grade. i have no idea how to use or read those things. I've never used one before. I may be stumped. Although, I did take the X5 to Autozone to have them check out the battery I had just purchased, seemed odd to me that it go bad after 5 days. Turns out..... the guy found that the 1st guy had given me the WRONG battery, I dont know if that was part of the problem BUT it got switched out to the correct battery. Since the change the X5 starts right up, he checked the battery several times and it was charged 100% AFTER turning it off. Alternator checke out as fine. The radio backlight has remained on though. |

Short course to raise your pay grade: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KF1gijj03_0
Radio will have multiple fuses so you may have to pull more than one to get the light to go out. Check system after 30 minutes to see if there is drain. Pull the fuse that extinguishes the radio light. Check it again then wait another 30 minutes and check to see if vehicle goes to sleep.
