Curious about pricing; I'm a customer up to about $400. I need two of them.

Curious about pricing too - even if you have to buy the cold weather dipstick guide tube ($150) at the time you do your CCV, the valve, 2 main hoses, the hose from the S tube to the other side of the manifold adjuster, and the drain tube is $165 tops -

I'd consider being a customer up to around $300 personally - I'd just as quickly get an M56 valve cover (and eliminate plastic valve cover on the M54 a the same time), or just live with my OEM CCV for a couple more years (replaced in 2014 with all cold weather parts) -

Also I'm assuming it will be black aluminum on production version and not bling bling silver -

Yes it deletes a bad design but so does the M56 version.

I'd agree with $300. I replaced my old one with a new cold weather kit for about $150. It would be hard to justify spending much more on something that's easily replaced for $150 every 5 or so years.

^^Agreed man, I spent the extra money as I bought the updated dipstick guide tube as well at same time so my initial replacement (on my ORIGINAL valve and hoses, don't know if I mentioned that, but they made it 11 years! - valve was stamped 9/2003 when I removed it) - now if they said this would also eliminate oil consumption on the M54 as well, and came with the $300 price point I'd also be more interested -

But again we are splitting hairs on something we both replaced in the last couple years and probably have a couple more years before it needs to be done again -

Still going strong on the cheap PCV mod, no undesirable effects to report!
