Getting back to the install of Seicane unit. Per the Seicane instructions the DVD player is supposed to start up automatically when a DVD is inserted. When I insert a DVD nothing happens for a long time and then the music screen comes up. If I go to download files app the DVD files are there and will play. If I insert a CD the music screen come up automatically and the CD will play. What do I do to make the DVD player come up automatically and the DVD play?

My Seicane which is different from yours model wise starts playing movies automatically when I insert a DVD.

The one I have is supposed to do the same thing. It is the one Seicane offers. My question is if there is a setting perhaps in Video that cancels the play automatically feature?

No idea. I haven't made any changes to it since I normally don't watch dvd's much.

I will look and see if I can find anything that does that.

Hi bcredliner,

I don't know if this will solve your problem, but there is a setting in these Android units which allows for "DVD or Movie While Driving" somewhere in the menu.

This could be your issue and then again it might not be.

Have you fully explored the settings menu from top to bottom yet?

I found some interesting settings when I fully explored the Android menu.

When you click on "About Device" what is the MCU Version shown?

Mine is an MTCD made by KBT with V2.42_1 MCU software.

The folks at https://forum.xda-developers.com say that this info is one of the keys to understanding your unit's capabilities and any potential software modifications moving forward.

Wondering if any of you guys can help.

The font on the ibus app is very small on my Eonon.

If i make the android font bigger then it ruins the layout of the text in the ibus app as all the words/letters start to overlap with each other. The ibus app itself does not have a font adjust setting so you have to go into the android settings instead to adjust font size.

On a separate note, the OBC clock is 1 minute behind the Eonon and i can't find a way of syncing it to be the same? Any ideas?

I never noticed the time being off like that. I will check mine and see if its doing that.

The font problem other eonon people have mentioned. The Seicane I have doesn't have that problem. Hopefully some of the eonon owners will chime in on that one.

I selected Font size "Normal" in settings and everything looks good in my IBUS app.

Has anyone have a step by step set of instructions how to mirror an iPhone, or a link to video on you tube?
