My 2005 X5 Aftermarket Radio Install Thread
I paid extra for the 3 to 5 days shipping from china or wherever its coming from. I'll post more info once it arrives. If its a lemon out of the box I'm not giving this company any advertising. This is a new one I have never had before so trying something new. Not going to lead someone down a crappy path if it turns out bad on the order.

Well I got my tracking number this morning but it doesn't show up in the system yet so still no estimated delivery date yet.

Its very dark here today with thick clouds. So the pics are a bit dark. I should of used the flash and will from this point on.
Unboxing. Not a real fan of unboxing stuff people do but I was VERY impressed with the packaging on this one over the eonons I had bought so here it is.

The radio itself. Notice the wifi antenna on the back of the radio. Should have REAL wifi range compared to the other android units I have and have seen. Also since its external I can add one of my very powerful wifi antennas from my wifi isp biz if I want to.

Last but not least the factory looking backup camera that replaces a tag light. Love these. I have them on my other bmw's.

Ive got it powered up and it looks sweet. No sound for some reason but I had to run inside so will check it again in a sec. I want to make sure it works perfectly before I run the cables thru the car.
I have a bunch of new pics and will upload shortly.
