I had almost identical symptoms all related to a loose power cable from my alternator (apparently I forgot to tighten after fixing my alternator). I also had similar symptoms before fixing the alternator. Almost any of those codes can be tripped from voltage fluctuations.

Ok. But I actually ran the car without the battery and everything stayed the same... No fluctuations... Was actually impressed.

"everything stayed the same" meaning Christmas tree dash? Sounds alternator to me. My car acted almost identically to your description when my end of life alternator got doused in oil and wouldn't hold steady voltage at idle.

Sounds alternator to me still.

it has the correct voltage and doesnt actually fluctuate, even with no battery connected.

I was able to see that the DME is not registering the Throttle Position, I removed the Throttle body and tested and both resistance appear to be working as does the butterfly, but the DME stays at 0% Thorttle.

I tested yesterday for continuity from the Throttle wiring harness to the DME but was not able to register continuity on any of the 6 pins on the throttle. but I do know for a fact that the throttle opens and works. so dont understand why I dont get continuity even on the pins for the butterfly motor....

please help, not sure what else to do right now.

PS did buy a cable for INPA...

Does a "battery nap" work in the E53 like it does in the E38?

Leave the (fully charged, known good) battery unplugged for about half an hour, then re connect it and try again.
