Strange Electrical Problem

Boy do I love electrical gremlins. The interior lights were not working on my wife's 2006, she also said she was having some problems with using the interior central locking system (remote worked). So, I checked the fuses. YES! One was shot, I replaced it and I have interior lights. The central locking mechanism is much more problematic. Here is the situation: My wife has the locking system set up to open the drivers side only, first. The central locking button only works to open the three doors after the drivers side door is unlocked. The central button will not lock or unlock the doors. The ONLY thing it does is unlock the three other doors once the passenger door is unlocked!

I checked the fuses for the central locking system and they are all ok.

Any ideas?

Thanks
