Moble Battery Service Replacement gone bad, really, really bad...

Hey everyone, just had the battery replaced by a mobile battery service (which will go unnamed for now) and our truck is in a world of hurt. A simple battery replacement was all we needed, but no, they had to hook up all kinds of equipment to test the battery, the battery draw and charging system and after replacement, we have major problems. They are:

1) Cannot unlock the truck using the key fob.
2) Lock button on the console does nothing.
3) Interior lights are all out, everywhere, all of them.
4) Wipers - dead.
5) OBDII port - dead, no power supplied to the dongle when plugged in.
6) Alarm screams for 15 seconds or so after shutting the engine down.
7) Rear hatch will not unlock at all with key fob or handle/switch on hatch.
8) Key in ignition alerts and chime no longer work.

There's probably other things I haven't yet found, but this seems to be a disaster at this point. I've pulled out every freaking fuse and they're all good.

They must have fried some electronic module or many of them. Other than this, the truck runs fine, no problems. Does anyone have any ideas or can point me in the right direction on what could be wrong? We'll be calling them in the morning, but doubt we'll get anywhere and they'll deny any responsibility. This truck is in great condition and everything worked until they pulled into our driveway for the battery replacement. Our membership comes up for renewal in June and doubt we'll re-up at this point. Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Disconnect the battery tonight and reconnect in the morning and see if the problem persists. Connect ground last.

It sure sounds like a fuse/fuseable link or connection problem. Maybe emergency battery disconnect thingy or loose connections at power distribution box or ground that got aggravated with the testing and replacement.

They broke the explosive battery post gadget. The bst behaves like that when it blows.

Usually the hazards work and the windows will roll down and that's about it.

BST goes to alternator and charger. Everything else goes around the bst.

There are a few fuses directly off the battery positive. (Not through the bst)

If they hooked up in the wrong place they could have put 700a through one or more of the fuses.

With key on, measure the voltage across each of the fuses (located just forward of the spare tire well).

A good fuse will measure 0v anything above a few mV indicates failure

You forgot the starter.

The BST is supposed to go to the b+ under the hood, alternator and starter.

That's what is does when it hasn't been damaged at least.

I didn't "forget" just wrote it wrong. Alternator is the charger of course I meant "alternator and starter".

If the car starts the bst is good.

It sure sounds like all the issues listed are GMIII related. Either the GMII went into transport mode or it may have been damaged. For sure the cheapest hope is to disconnect the battery and clear the memory.

Here is BMW-approved procedure:
- disconnect the ground/earth/(-) cable from the battery
- disconnect the positive (+) cable from the battery
- short the battery cable together for at least 10 minutes
- reconnect the positive (+) cable to the battery
- reconnect the ground/earth/(-) cable to the battery
- reset the clock

Thanks everyone for the suggestions and help with this. I'll be checking more fuses and will do the "short out the battery cable" procedure after work tonight. I hope this works, this is a real disaster, this truck is in great shape and runs really well. Sad to see it in such bad shape over a simple battery replacement.
