I have the factory one on my X6. Yes, it lasts; at least the factory one.

i expect the OEM ones to last, i doubt the knockoff ones will. i wonder if one could refrost the OEM ones on the newer cars to our old e39s and e53s.

I have aftermarket ones and they are definitely cool. The logo really pops when the ground is wet. I've had them for a about year and everything is fine.

Mine are holding up great too. I added them to our e53 and our e70. I will try to shoot a vid of them in the next few days.

The first picture shows the two different projectors I tried. Left is an eBay purchase from about 6months ago. Last month upgraded the rear doors with the Amazon purchase. The Amazon ones were so much better, I plan on replacing the front doors soon. I think they are LED so lamp life should be long.

Just did these earlier. They look great. The light itself was way to small for my 04 E53, I just built up the sidewalls with tape hehe. Yeah I'm Ghetto.

There are two sizes to the lights. Its a complete crap shoot as to what you will get when you order them. The ones for the E39 cars is what fits the E53 aka the large ones.

The e70 uses the smaller ones.
