Bmwtvboy is on a distinguished road
Switch or Motor, that is the question.

So, my driver window is acting up. Sometimes it goes up and down when the switch is pressed/pulled. But other times it does nothing, or worse it will go down part way after several seconds and then press the switch and it goes up or down. I think it's the switch. Can I check this switch system with an ohm meter? Thanks..

The switch actuates a very simple reversing relay and you can check Ω with a meter. YouTube has videos
