magnum1 is on a distinguished road
left side speakers not working

have a 2000X5 , with DSP set up
the driver side speakers are dead
Dealer said it was the Amp, replace the amp and still no sound.
any ideas

similar thing happened to my e39, the front passenger side speakers don't have any sound, turns out that the connector is just loose from the crossover. Try unplugging and plugging it back.

it's where the speaker wires terminate from the door panel, when you remove the door panel you can easily see it since you need to disconnect those wires.

You drill down the menu into "radio" in the active test and you can send all the sound to any one channel.

- Maybe someone replaced the window regulator and/or slider clips etc. forgot to re-connect the speaker wires.

Or it wasn't locked in and fell apart. I found a speaker wire loose on my car when I fixed my door handle carrier
