Not sure what module you are using but my 04 does not have any button. Turn the ignition to position 1 and for 30 or 60 seconds, the Bluetooth connection is discoverable automatically.

Is this right under the center armrest? That black connector and the purple connector looks like they are for the bluetooth module.

I don't have the business radio so I don't know how it works, but once you connect the bluetooth module successfully the Nav unit flashes red briefly when the car is fired up(or in the ignition switch position). Once the phone pairs to the bluetooth module the red flashing goes away.

I think you either haven't connected the bluetooth module correctly to the business radio or you have a bad module.

Get a later bluetooth module, from 04~06. There was a list of compatible units on the forum somewhere, get the latest ones that are compatible to your vehicle.

You won't need the pairing button if you buy a later module.

Ebay has plenty of them for cheap. Got mine for $40+ 2 years ago.
