A few of those were triggered by low voltage did you change battery or have a "need a jump" situation?

Get a good charge on the battery and clear the codes and see which come back.

yeah i just got a new battery from bmw a month ago and i did clear the codes the ones that keep coming back is ..

28 thermal sensor for oil level defect

06 Side airbag, front right ( whice i dont know why it didnt pop)
F0 Internal Control Unit Fault ( whice i think is the reason my air bag light came on)

8C Activation Map Cooling ( from reading they said it is Thermostat but i dont know whice one it could be that little one that connect to the hoses or the waterpump one)

18 Voltage ultrasonic sensor general ( whice i believe thats the reason my PDC does not work)

and then the transmission code i get when it rains hard and the e53 is wet..

i really wish i knew what was what so i can begin fixing what needs to fix
and thanks for your reply

The airbag (SRS) codes could be real faults or could be because you disconnected an SRS component while the battery was still connected. SRS codes will remain even after the SRS component is re-connected. The SRS codes need to be reset by a specific SRS reset tool or routine. If the codes return, then the fault is real and needs addressing.

The ultrasonic sensor is probably a fault PDC sensor. Turn on the PDC and listen for clicking at each PDC sensor - no click is likely a dead sensor.

The trans code when wet could be the transmission mechatronic connector - they are known to cause trouble in wet weather. Disconnect it, clean the plug and the socket really well, dry them both out and use a little silicone grease on the connector seal when re-connecting it.

well the SRS light i already tried to clear it it just comes right back so i need to figure that out i was thinking maybe the main module for the airbags... ?

the ultrasonic i was thinking its that main module aswell because the PDC never worked since i got the x5 and i changed all the sensors front and back thinking it would work and it never did ..

and do you have a picture of this connector in the transmission or part number or is there a DIY video to look at that show me how to fix it?

Can't be sure about your trans wiring as I'm not what trans you have but I think this image shows the connector (X8532).

There's a few threads on Xoutpost about cleaning it etc. - a search should locate them.

That's the ZF 5HP24 transmission - so the mechatronic connector (X8505) should be here : -

In this picture, down = forward. That's the transfer case at the very top of the image.
