Yeah. This is why I FINALLY pulled the trigger on one of these. Been looking at the different units since buying my 4.8is after loving MOST of the things about the Avin Avant 2 installed in my previous 4.4i. Reading on XDA forums about ROMS, hardware, etc.

We'll see how well it functions, it's reliability, etc as the install progresses. If it's a turd, I won't sugar coat it. So far, I'm really excited about it. Wish I had more time to dedicate to doing this right now. The test fit really lit the desire to get on it, but that's how it goes.

Awesome, can't wait to see your install!

I did an audio system last year, also had JL V1/ V2 amps, but went went the newer HD style amps, 1200/1 and 600/4 to power a Critical Mass U12 and some Audison speakers. I used a Kenwood headunit, but it does look quite small with such a large shroud/cover. The android units really bring the looks to modern times.
