Yes of course. But then you would also have to build relay activation for blower/IHKA like any after market versions. And you can't use BMW diagnostics but have to connect directly on the unit with Webasto Thermo Test software.

Ironically, given that it's the start of summer here and yesterday was in the mid-20's (Deg.C), I actually manually started my Webasto this morning before the drive to work - it was very cold after a southerly storm blew in from Antarctica overnight... and no, I kid you not - take a look at the southern end on New Zealand on a map and you'll only see a few thousands kms of freezing ocean between here and the big icey bit at the bottom...
