Unless I'm misunderstanding Rootripper's original post... So Rootripper - was this mystery code on the dash display or was it on a generic ODB code reader...? ![]()

I understanding is that the display came up on the high cluster dash. The op confused us by mentioning the ice warning, he was just saying that is the display where the 247 warning came up

![]() So that means that if the BC display displayed "P5 - 247" it's not a generic ODB code but something else. We have a saying down here - "Buggered if I know..." ![]()

The 20 digit alpha/numeric display's 1st priority is to display CHECK CONTROL priority 1 & 2 warnings.
![]() ![]() Secondly...the the OBC information can be displayed there if programmed to do so. ![]() ![]() Thirdly...the radio info can be displayed if RDS/PTY is activated and the radio station is broadcasting the info...as well as CD changer Disc/Track info (if optioned). Fourth on the list would be the info from any of the 21 OBC TESTs when the cluster has been UNLOCKED. ![]() So what ever that "P5 - 247" that appeared in the cluster's display was...it apparently is some odd electrical data glitch. ![]()
