You would really think that me looking it up on the internet would provide we with the answer, given that you would have to buy replacement OEM ones at some point, but alas, no one seems to have the size. Whenever you open them up and measure them, I will probably order them right away. Also, to replace/swap a halo, do you have to open the whole light assembly or can you change it like a normal bulb?

Life is all about learning - these is no dumb - just pre-education!

(unless you ignore the lesson - then there's some dumb!).

OP has started a new thread here...

Pics/measurements pending. Kids and wife are gone for the day so can catch up on some stuff. Will report back in a bit.

EDIT: Here you go, apologize for the one rotated picture... not sure why it uploaded that way. Going to start a new thread with these pics and measurements to make it more searchable for those in the future. Like you, I could not find this info anywhere when I was looking to do this.

Inner (larger) rings: ~5 11/16" (144.4625mm) side to side and ~5 7/16" (138.1125mm) top to bottom

Outer (smaller) rings: ~4 7/8" (123.825mm) side to side and about exactly the same top to bottom

crystalworks - I don't think that lkv0315 initially realised that changing the halo's require baking/cutting open the headlights and that the halos aren't a replaceable item.

But I'm sure someone will make good use of any extra information you can provide.

Yeah, I gathered that as well after checking the other thread. No biggie. This was info I could have used so if it helps the OP or someone else in the future... it's worth it.

Oh boy

I have returned, because I came to the realization that everyone warned me about. The projectors are not very bright, which is depressing, to say the least. So now I want to replace the rings, I had been pointed toward diodedynamics or something along that lines, and if there is a ring on any of these websites which size would it be that I would get? Also, does anyone have a tutorial for how these would be replaced out for the old ones? It seems kinda complicated and I really don’t want to screw it up. Sorry to bump this but it already contained relevant info so.

You DO know that to replace the rings you are going to have to cut open your headlights, and this is VERY difficult to do?

It involves baking the headlights in an oven at ~400*F for 25 minutes, then using sharp tools to cut through the softened glue joint.
