Doubt it. Would need to be a custom jobbie... you're in the right locale for it. Would love to see a Mad Max style E53.

Oh, and I assume you mean for the M62 and not the N62?

To the best of my knowledge no, it would have to be a custom made piece and even then I’m not sure it would clear the hood.

Some people in the E38/39 world (mostly on Bimmerforums) planned to make kits to use an M112 with an adapter plate on the M62, but I don’t think they ever ended up finishing the project.

Yes it can be done on a m62tu, I have it in my 540i, https://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/s...rcharger-build

The only issue i see on the x5 is the rear clearance, air plenum mod might be needed

Some Land Rover uses the same BMW engine. You should check out their supercharged engine.

The supercharged engines in L322 Land Rover are Jag engines. BMW just shoved regular old 4.4 into the N/A L322 and called it a day. I believe unless he wants to do an engine swap, 3.2 jag and 5.0 jag supercharged engines are not going to be very instructive.
