Parking sensor issue
I have an issue with the parking sensors in that none appear to be working, I have felt and listened to the front and back and get no noise or vibration from them. When the car is put in reverse I get a constant tone for short time then it goes off. I have had the PDC unit out, dry no unusual signs on the circuit board, fuse is good. I have even tried the ignition on and moving close to all sensors but no joy, I am suspecting the PCD module may have failed unless anyone has any other checks I can do Thanks in advance |

They are very cheap used if you need to buy one. Don't require coding either so it's not an expensive attempt to throw one (or two) at the problem..

Exactly the same problem
Hi mate, mine is exactly the same, nothing from any of the sensors!! Ive replaced the module with exactly the same results!! There's conflicting views on this problem, some say when one sensor fails it brings up this fault and none of the others work, others say you can hear the working ones clicking but I've never achieved this!! the best advice is to get it plugged in, good diagnostics should pinpoint the fault. Hope this helps!!
Cheers |
