That was the first time. When I removed motor and just rotate the gear 180 degrees. You don’t have to do much to flip gear. Just mark it, remove motor, and spin the gear around. Install motor, put back in car. That flip is a free fix that takes a total of 10 min longer to do that just a straight swap with a new part.
