Huh. It goes up to maybe 90% of the total sweep and then no continuity. I'll dig around and see if I can find the specs for it. Either way it isn't reliable.

Started right up, of course, and the gauge is showing 5.7l, which is about what I dumped in. I'll contact the seller and see what they will do. Thanks for the spot-on advice.

OBC test 6 shows 0.0 left, 27.0 right and 27.0 total.

Looking over the excellent post from Andrewwynn:

About to pull both tank covers and see if I have leaks in the siphon hoses. Anything else I should be looking for? I hope the Delphi pump I bough last year isn't failing already.
What did the fuel gauge on the dash say? Did the low fuel light come on?

No light, gauge showed a little over a quarter tank. OBC showed 27l, clearly all wrong.

My options are to use the 87 or so octane or go buy yet another 5 gal container and fill it with the correct gas.

I'd have put in one of the 87s then filled up after with 93. It averages out. On long trips I often mix 50/50 93 and 87 to get 90 at less price than the purposely 89 midngrade pointless fuel.

The x will run fine on 87. It will knock a little and the computer will dial down the performance until it stops you will never hear the knock but you will notice less passing power.
