Help needed: White smoke and burning smell 4.8 is
Just observed a white smoke and burning smell from right side of exhaust pipe. Is it safe to drive around 30km more to get it to home? Or towing?! Thanks in advance Sent from my iPhone using Xoutpost.com |

Check your expansion tank and make sure you have coolant. White is usually from burning coolant and you could have the making of a blown head gasket. If your coolant level is ok and you have cooled down then a short 30 km trip should be possible but the risk is up to you.

After stopping 2-3 hours at my friends place, I managed to drive her to home EODguy all safe and sound. And no smoke observed this time except little burn smell. Need to figure out what is or was wrong.

Great. Now it's time to start with scanning for codes and running all live data with a good scanner.
Best of luck!! Sent from my SM-A730F using Tapatalk
