Sorry I'm just confused. I have the cars listed like yours (when I look) is it not showing anything about the info?
Thanks Sent from my SM-A730F using Tapatalk

Negative.. A 351CJ w/2 850s and a FMX tranny and a narrow 9in, it'll pass anything other than a gas station

Oh damn! Cobra Jet - Nice!! So you built this as a go fast toy then
Mine was tiny compared... had a 289 bored 60 over with high flow 302 heads and a stroker crank. Modified displacement was only 318 ci but the little sucker would spin 8000 RPM. Ran a Holly Fuel Injection unit on it with MSD Ignition and two stage nitrous, it was quick, but not CJ quick. I still miss that car ☹️ |

Funny thing how I got that engine..
I went to a parts yard in 86 and while looking for a big block for the stang I found the CJ on a rack inside. The old man said "that's pretty hard to find" and I looked so sad he let me have it for 100 buck and the 302 from the stang.... So if you heard the sound of angels and a joyous unmanly scream in June of 86 that was me Now if I can only find a complete side oiler (in one piece) I'll be giving away my 2005 White 4.8iS and a vacation place in Florida. NOBODY SAY ANYTHING TO MY WIFE !!!! Sent from my SM-A730F using Tapatalk

June of 86! I remember that! That was you! Damn!
A $100, that is insane, you probably made considerably more than that parting company with the 302 already in the car - nice score! Assuming you’re looking for a 427 SO? Damn... now I’m going to have to call everyone I’ve ever know who raced a Ford, I could use a well maintained 4.8is |

In your profile you can add your bio information which includes your vehicles. There is also the signature. In your signature you have the goat and slinky quote (which is really funny).
You need to add the vehicle information to the signature section. I have mine in both my bio and I copied it to my signature. The only thing which posts into the threads is the information under the signature section of your profile.

The Gulf option package just wraps up specs that are required for the region and makes sure the vehicle meets the requirement...like the correct license plate holders, program the IHKA for "hot climate", etc. I can't find anything that says what is specifically included in the gulf package...but the aforementioned is the gist. Some other examples...the Australian market requires mud flaps as standard equipment. The US market requires additional knee padding (so the lower dash parts are different for this market vs Euro markets). And again, depending on your market, there are approx 3 or 4 different types of license plate holders for front and/or rear...so those little things and other Envorionmental or country specific requirements are wrapped up in "packages'.

On a side note... Have you noticed that it seems that you read one of the posts about a problem and then it happens to you? I've had that happen here and every once in a while I see a post that makes me sweat like a whore in church. "Blown motor" post I was afraid to read (just in case) Sent from my SM-A730F using Tapatalk
