PDC stop working

Hi all! Have not been here for quite long time!

Recently the PDC stopped working and the PDC button kept blinking everytime it engaged, I used the GT1 to have it checked and it shows as attached. Does anyone know if it is just the wiring problem or a bad sensor? As it says the front left, does it mean the most left sensor on the left corner is in problem? Thanks for help!

Turn the PDC on and go to the front and put your ear next to each sensor and slowly cover them with your hand. You should hear a faint clicking sound on a good sensor.

It literally says a wire is broken. It could be the wiring to the sensor or the sensor itself. If they are easy enough to remove you could swap with another sensor to see if the problem migrates or stays in the same place to determine but it's the sensor or the wiring.

Welcome to my world. I had to re-solder my wires two times before I got it to stop breaking off my wires. Last time I did it, I epoxy protected those wires to not happen again.

Bumper removal time.

Mine kept breaking the middle right though.

I see, thanks for comment. For replacing the corner sensor, is it the only to do it by removing the bumper? Can I reach it from front wheel arch?

Not really sure. The middle ones for sure bumper comes off. Probably easier to remove bumper no matter what you do. Your wires are probably cut. You canít reach in there and fix wires without bumper removal.

While you have the bumper off inspect/do your headlight washer pumps and hoses & connectors.

On mine, it was a loose plug at the sensor. Was able to reach up behind the bumper and wiggle it and reseat the plug. No issues 3 years later. Found mine using the technique Overboost describes.
