Spot check your alignment with a string. Tie a toothpick or nail onto the string and hook it into the tread, wrap the string from behind the back to in front of the front tire. The string should be at the height of center of the hub. Now, wedge a 1/16 in..(1.6mm) spacer between the string and tire on the fattest part of the front side of the front tire. The alignment is correct if the front edge of the fattest part of the sidewall is 1/16" closer to centerline. (Both front and back). The string not tight enough to hold the spacer on the back wheel. The spacer is the bright green under the string at the bottom of the photo.
