AIR SUSPENSION FINALLY GONE.
Found some front shocks and springs from a local wrecker then ordered in some suplex springs off ebay from England. Only took my local indy two hours to change over to springs . And so far I'm happy with it.. even happier that I do t ha e continuous problems. The last nail in the coffee was the valve block that does the front airbags had started to leak. Causing it to save overnight and when you tried to set the height again it was all over the place. The rear valve block here In New Zealand is $29...the front one is $960...!!! So the decision was easy, as I had spent good money on two new front air bags only a year ago...and wasn't willing to throw more money at it. I love the beast with its 4.8 vs, iv only seen one other here in New Zealand and an to keep it for abit longer yet. Sent from my SM-J530Y using Xoutpost.com mobile app |

Welcome to club:
https://xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-forums/...gs-delete.html Of course mine was easier as I only dealt with rear air suspension but I did replace most components on front as well. I've also used German Suplex springs and not a single suspension issue in 6+ years and 27k+ miles. I understand that some people prefer air ride but my argument is simple: With conventional setup the only way something goes wrong is if coil breaks which is quite rare vs a dozen potential issues with air setup.
