Any Programmers Here??? NCS Expert, WinKFP, INPA, Programming
I know there other forums for this sort of thing but i wanted to throw it out here hoping that Versions / Files of software they know works with our e53s? For example all the guides say to use INPA to read all the module numbers (User Information Field, or i think in German abbreviated AIF) and then use WinKFP to program them individually... well INPA doesn't have the User Information Field for the e53. I tried all sorts of things to get it to show up. Lastly I think people didn't need to but I'm thinking I may need to run a Virtual Machine instead of Native Windows 10 Installation. (I have a surface pro tablet)

I recall a thread in another forum that is dedicated to how to and solving problems folks are having using INPA, I don't recall what forum but might come up in a Google search. Last I knew the software ran best on Windows XP. It takes a considerable amount of hard drive space. Many purchase a Windows laptop that is used only for running the software.

Show me some links where is the AIF supposed to be. I believe you see that only in the identification part of each module.

Hmmm. Now I am interested as well. I will check tonight. I have a feeling I am missing it as well.
My F3 is normally blank. Shit. You may be onto something.

There are specific folders (each BMW chassis code) on Mega that you can download and load into INPA. Right now, my software will only connect to the e53 because this is the only data I have installed to run. The F3 key is not blank on my install.
OP, which cable are you using to interface with your truck?

Hi, Do you have a link for the e53 specific files? My Inpa (etc) files have been messed up over the years AND I don't have the F3 option either... If you also know the e36 files that would be a bonus... Cheers. |
