‘06 X5 Speaker/Amp Wiring

I have been combing through the internet at large and Xoutpost specifically looking for a speaker/amp wiring diagram for my non-dsp, with navigation ‘06 4.4i E53. I am both installing an aftermarket sub and amp, and need to find the specific wires for my tweeters and the speakers in the dash (midranges?) in order to test them so I can see if a problem I’ve been having is with those speakers or the OEM amp. Anyway any help, tips, or suggestions would be much appreciated. Again, as I said, I’m looking for diagrams that will help me identify the wire colors on the amp harness as well as the general speaker layout of my particular vehicle. Thanks!

Thanks! I feel a bit confused by the information at that site. It lists three different types of speaker systems, none of which seem to be the one that I have. Perhaps I am being dense, but I am new to all this. I have 8 speakers in total. Two in the dash directly under the windshield (midranges possibly), two tweeters in the front R and L doors, and 4 base speakers (one in each of the four car doors). I do have a factory amp (I’m sure that everyone does), and no dedicated or OEM base amplifiers. I cants seem to find this exact set up on the website you graciously provided...

There are 3 systems available in the E53. Base, Top Hi-Fi, and DSP. It sounds like you have the one wpoll provided diagrams for.

This may or may not help (since you never asked about wiring for the sub connection but here it is anyhow .. this is how you convert from speaker wires to RCA connections, to connect your amp.
