I'm sure most interested in this item will question why you never installed them on your 4.8is...left a few of us hanging on the results https://xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-forums/...ats-4-8is.html

No time or $$ to be honest... I still have a few things left to fix on my 4.8is - leaking break line/door handles/etc -- and if I had the $$ to install these I would in a heartbeat.. I checked fitment its correct... this is purely for track too.. I was afraid every morning I would wake up the entire block by warming up my car.. LOL.. for someone with a private house this would be perfect.

That’s a lot of dough to sound like a menace. I want to see more photos of the welds.

that's a good amt of coin just to sound like a menace.. I, personally, would enjoy both a menacing sound along with a decent HP gain...

I can't imagine the pain that comes with taking a $2,500 hit on some fartcans that you never even got to listen to. I'm sorry for your loss

If the goal is performance, larger circumference and lower restriction exhaust will improve both HP and TQ but the gain per dollar spent is far better spent elsewhere. If it is done to maximize the performance of significant engine mods it makes some sense but a much better value and greater benefit would be exhaust cutouts.

If the goal is a better sound that is easily done for less than $500.

Fyi--Items for sale should be posted in classified section and can only be done by premier members.

Agree with all above except "better sound easily done under $500" as sound is subjective. Volume, note and drone can also be a factor. I had some Corsa mufflers custom fab'd as I HATE drone. I've never heard Hamann so it's hard to know what is to be expected. The rare factor does make it cooler tho, if you're into that. And rules are rules....need premium account to make for sale thread.
