Not possible Harry. As mentioned above, you need to activate the AE as DRL through the iBus adapter and app through an Android head unit.

I have been reading forums for a while, so I hoped that NCS would do it somehow, just I have not fount a way. But seems that I have to get an Android system and some more cool features with it

Question Help with DRL

I was curious about reprogramming my DRLs but I do not see "halos" as an option in iBus. My DRL menu options are Front Park Lights, Fog Lights, Rear Park Lights, and Ambient Lights. Perhaps my 2005 does not have halogens so that is why? Am I stuck with original high beam DRLs?

It's front "park lights".

Why "crazy Germans"? The front park lights in an E53 are of the "halo" design...

Perhaps you meant "precise Germans"?
