There are no bolts. The studs up top are part of the the shock/strut tower mounts. Use the existing hardware to mount the Dinan bar. There are recesses on the mounting plate for the OE nuts.

Don't have to cut or modify anything. It's a tight fit. There is a trick to it but it's been so long I've forgotten... like most things I've done. Might have to separate one side of the bar or something, last time I had it off was when I had to have it welded because the stud had sheared off the bar. I didn't even know it was broken until servicing the washer tank one day. Had probably been broken since I bought the X.

Install the Dinan plates and then slide the bar behind the washer fluid tank first and push the bolt in toward the rear of vehicle so you can get a wrench in there. The bar will drop down to connect to the driver's side.

It was 3 or 4 months ago...one of the connection points to the foot were broken off. Whole thing looked worthless to me. Tough to introduce stress to anything less than structurally sound right there.

Should not have to cut washer bottle to make it fit/work.

Alright, got her installed. Only trouble was the strut bolt coming up through center of towers needed to be shaved down to clear and let the footing plates sit flush on the shock towers. Feels good and tight, but seems to be a slight clunk when road gets a little bit uneven. Any ideas? Bar feels super-firm.
