I have auto. I think the truck was also. We got stopped Side by side at red lights about 4 times over 10 or so miles.

First time only he was "racing" but I noticed full on wheelspin so second time I was anticipating his rabbit start and hit full throttle at anticipating the green light and quite left him back at the intersection literally wagging his tail.

3rd time just like the second but he found some dry ground on the 4th time and got to show off how much torque a 454 has and what that means with an empty pickup.

Question about change dif ratios.

Hahaha... I would have been all flush with adrenaline!

Very similar circumstance when I got into it with a M3. Not as many passes, but one similar.

I laid into him! He was shocked that a soccer mom car just left him in a cloud of unburnt fuel and massive water/meth vapor cloud.

Before I had the blower, I had an afe cold air intake. I used to get the upper hand on quite a few vehicles with the awd.

Their awesome vehicles, I don’t care what market value says!

It’s probably how I fried my stock flywheel and clutch so rapidly!

Question about change dif ratios.

I had a little more adrenaline the time I tried to catch up with a bently continental GT just to say nice car and he just didn't want whatever car next to him to pass so he kept just going faster and faster until we were going about 105.

We slowed dramatically while passing a pulled over car then I did finally get to pull up along side, using an app on my phone I flashed "nice car" and the response was that the passenger took a photo/video

I would love to hear that truck with the pipes open!
I see that now.

Some meth stuff- Meth doesn't make horsepower or torque, it is an enabler. I think a reasonable expectation for improved performance using meth is 7-10 percent regardless of application. The very high side IMO is 15-17 percent. If you start with 91 octane, with a 30 percent meth to water ratio, the effective octane of the fuel will be around 110. I use 93 octane and 50-50 mix which is around 116.

A little goes a long way, more is not better. To maximize the benefit of meth requires dyno runs so the ramp up of injection can be 'tuned' to the application. Too much and it will quench combustion. The maximum gain from meth often includes being able to advance the timing and likely use colder plugs. From your consumption rate it sounds like you are using too much. As a reference. If I have the meth switched on for daily driving I will use less than a quart for a tank of gas.

Nitrous cools the airflow more than enough. For my application it is used to make sure the effective octane is high enough to protect from detonation. I would never trigger the nitrous without the meth. So I can't separate the gains.

I use 93 octane and 50-50 mix as well.

My application is a bit different. The supercharger is always under boost, and with RMS kit the discharge pipe is like 5 inches. It’s like literally having the blower connected to the throttle body. The heat is incredible.

It has been tuned and runs colder plugs. The last time the computer was hooked up, there were no signs of quench.

You got any sound clips of your truck?

No, I don't have anything that would make a decent audio recording. I don't think an iPhone is the way to go.

Ok bc, I caught a slight bit of steam at 5600 rpm to 6300 rpm.

What’s your take?

There is no quench, no bog, and she runs hard, plus Houston is usually extremely hot.

And, remember the conditions of my setup.

Here is the evidence.

Should I retune?

In the modern day we just use GPS. People on the Lotus forum aren't able to purchase speedo drive for their Europa. They been replacing the old speedometer with a GPS speedometer. They are able to do this because the speedometer in old British cars were circular stand alone gauge, not an integrate gauge cluster as found on modern car.

Just mount an eye phone on the dash and see what your speed is.
