You did refresh my recollection though. My last tune was in California on 91 octane, and here I’ve been using 93.

Somebody that's done it can maybe answer if there is a problem when vehicle speed doesn't match the wheel speed

That's wrong, the IKE gets the vehicle speed data over the I-Bus from the DSC unit, the left rear wheel speed sensor is the master sensor for speed data.

I couldn't find the e53 specific info. I just knew that my buddy who's abs module is flaked still has a working speedo but I think his front sensors are both out but the backs still report speed but not always.
