Bi-Xenon Headlights, Adaptive or Not?

Had a run in with a deer on my '05 X5 and need to replace one of my headlights. They are definitely bi-xenon with yellow side markers but not sure if they are adaptive or not. It is not listed on my invoice, anyone know how I can tell? Anyone have a source for used replacements? Trying to do a low budget repair as Progressive wants to total the truck but it is special to me; bought it as a loaded demo in '05 but it has a manual transmission. Have kept it well maintained over the years. Need a hood and bumper cover too but those are straightforward. If I can source low cost used BMW parts I'll buy it back and get it repaired. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can run your VIN through a VIN decoder such as https://www.mdecoder.com/ (first one that popped-up when I did a Google search). Good luck with the repairs.

Look at the lens of the outer lights. It will read BMW Dynamic Xenon if they are adaptive.

Thanks all, VIN decoder says I have them but will check lens as suggested above. Appreciate the fast feedback. Another question though, VIN decoder says I have "S785A, White direction indicator lights." Does this mean I need P/N 63117166817 which is bi-xenon, adaptive, and has white direction indicator lights?

My guess is S785A is white bulbs for amber corner lenses. Pretty common in the States. Now clear corners are the way to go if you can find them.

Which one? I might have one from my recent headlight-a-palooza. Replaced both the '04's. One is early production non-adaptive- I have both of these. I only have the passenger side in adaptive.

check craigslist, facebook and any local pick n pull yard. People are scrapping X5's on a weekly basis in the Northeast. You should have no trouble finding a headlight.
