M54 Engine Smoke/Oil Leak
the oil is pooling in one spot in the ground at what looks to be the back of the engine compartment near where the firewall would be if anyone has any input on what i should be looking for i'd appreciate it greatly. |

Clean the engine with Oil Eater (when cold) and you'll be able to pinpoint the leak a lot easier. At this point it'll only be a guess but I don't want to say it and jinx anything...

just tried that now i'm seeing the smoke coming from a specific spot and where the oil is dripping a couple drops it seems to be smoking from where the rear oxygen sensor and manifold is

Who replaced the VCG?
What brand? It looks like it leaks from the VCG again. Also, the CCV delete, any photos of your current setup? Maybe the pressure is high in the crankcase.

VCG is barely 24 hours old but i don't see anything else that could possibly be leaking
A simple catch can was installed with a PCV inline ill post pics when i'm with the car again i'm getting misfires on cylinders and camshaft sensor errors as well even after they were replaced the first time i got the codes |
