If you have INPA, you can very easily use this tool and look at the SAS module. Unfortunately this sensor is a wear-item. It is actually not too hard to change as you just need to lay on your back while under the driver's foot-well. If you need help with this, create a new thread and I can easily walk you through it using INPA.

When SAS starts to.fail you can usually recalibrate by turning the steering wheel full left to full right a couple times. Clear codes and hope for the best. My car had an SAS trifecta 2-3x in the past couple years.
I plan to get the eBay repair kit vs replacement as they are stupid expensive.

Is that just for the brushes? If that's the case, $85 for the tiny little brushes is a freakn RIP.
I just checked for a new SAS they're going for around $200 on ebay. They seem to be more plentiful for a new genuine at a better price than when I picked mine up.

It’s pricy but has a bonus of no Re-code. It’s actually a 3D printed replacement brush sweeping assembly and a kit including proper grease. Go look at the kit.
$200 for new oem? I would not consider non oem.
