Vibration - new tires all round?
Hi all....
Just replaced a transfer case and giubo but still have the vibration at 50km/h.... I've figured out that we've got two different brands of (run flat) tires on the front of the X.... I'm selling it so was going to just replace the fronts.... so to my question.... rears are about 60%... can I get away with keeping them and just doing the fronts only? or is the transfer case gonna have a fit? Cheers

I think the TC can handle up to 3% size difference it shouldn't be a problem.
You can force RWD on xdrive by pulling the right fuse (when I did this with 328xi it made the wipers run the whole time but at least I could test). You can determine if your vibration is xdrive related this way.

I believe it is fuse 37. It disables the Transfer Case, ABS, and Traction Control. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
