This is the part from real OEM. it goes from the front wheel to the rear wheel and is about 10” wide. It uses plastic rivets on the outboard side and screws on the inboard side.

It’s a very large panel you can’t miss it

Thanks. I think the mixup is that I have an X3. (The X3 forums are filled with bitter cranks, that is why I also post here to learn common issues) X3 does not seem to have that panel.
