Various Trim Removal

I was about to wrap all my wooden trim in a vinyl but have had a hard time finding specific instructions about the different trim pieces and how to remove them. The two main ones in question are the center console trim, like the large one, and the little sliver of trim within the shifter knob. From what I understand you can just get under the rest of them with a plastic pry tool and pop them right out. Any help would be good phenomenal!

Side note; I did see some YouTube videos about the center console trim but they said you either had to disassemble the whole dash or disassemble the handbrake. I was looking for a simpler alternative to either of those options.

wpoll will become famous soon enough
The entire centre console must be removed before you can access the trim - no way around it.

Here's a step-by-step....

I am having a plethora of issues with my reassembly process of the center console and have no idea what to do. There are multiple things, such as clip-nut locations, screw sizes/lengths and issues with aligning holes that I need some help with. Either I can try to PM images with my problems to someone or maybe someone with extensive knowledge would be willing to Skype or some sort of other video call in order to help me get this put back together. I understand how to do the armrest, rear cupholder and rear air vent reassembly as I have it done but the multitude of screws that are on the rear sides of the console do not line up and some do not thread on the screws (presumably because they need one of the little nut things, which I am purchasing tonight.) If someone would be able to PM me, I would not be going through this process tonight as I need to head to work pretty soon.
