Power steering help

Hello,
I need some help. I am doing an LS swap to a 1999 BMW E39 528iT, and am attempting to use an E53 PS pump. I am in need of a fitting to go from pump to AN6. Can anyone tell me where I might be able to find such a fitting ?

Thanx for your help,
Robert (FriendlyRedneck)

Hello,
Some more info about the donor pump. Part number for the pump is 32411095750 or 32416762279.
It fits the needs of the accessories very nicely, don't ya think ??

I use AN hoses on my British cars and need AN adapters from BSP

Not sure what size metric fitting the pump takes, but try Pegasus, here: https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/gr...pID=PLUMADAPM6

Happy to help. As far as adapters and plumbing, if they don't have it, it probably isn't made. They have a paper catalog and it's great.

With an LS build, I guarantee they'll have other head-ache avoiding things you might need.

BTW, that pump is from an EU 3.0diesel that wasn't imported here.

Edit: Or maybe here: https://www.technafitstore.com/Metri...show=12&page=2

If you have the ends that you need, you can take it to a truck parts supplier. They can make custom hose as long as you have the end pieces.

Another option is go to an actual farm store that sells tractors, combines, etc. Those places can make both soft and hard lines shaped as you need...

I've also used a trade school machine shop class fo the "odd" piece work and saved setup costs...

Maybe make an adapter that fits the PS pump by welding a SS AN6 fitting to the line factory hose fitting end and then just run a 6AN to 6AN hose?

All information posted by you guys is greatly appreciated. Thank ya'll very much.
I went to the ZF/TRS website and put the engine particulars in (X53, 3.0 diesel, Euro version), and found out that the connection size is 16mm x 1.5. I ordered a 16mm x 1.5 to AN-6 fitting. When I get the fitting in, I will find/make a 22-26" hose with 90 degree AN-6 fittings on it to connect from the pump to the PS rack (which has a 14.5mm x 1.5 to AN-6 fitting on it, that I have already). This should work !
I will certainly let everyone know that it did (or didn't).
Thanx once again for all the knowledgeable people on here. I gleaned a lot of good info !

Robert
