Trunk liner

Has anyone come across a cargo liner that is fitted to the e53? After 16 years of weekly vaccum, I'm tired of dog fur.

I have two X5's and two cargo liners in black from two brands. My WeatherTech brand is the better one and I would suggest you buy that one. Easy to find used on Ebay, craigslist, Facebook, and still avail new I believe. Check the xoutpost classifieds.

There are two liner types (diff shapes) for the E53 X5. One for the standard cargo floor, and one for the cargo floor that slides out. Make sure you get the correct one. I have one of each.

+1 on the Weather Tech...have had one in the rear cargo area since about week 2, 18+ years ago.
Fits well, was inexpensive then.

My ol'E53 floor is the non-slide out version.

Yes I got the floor liner when I bought the car back in 2004. Works well.
Although I have seen some liners that go up the 4 sides covering all the carpet on the sides and the seat backs. That’s what I am looking for.
Many places offer them, but when generic fit they look awful. When actually fitted to particular car they look awesome. I’ve seen some on Amazon for the newer X5 but not for the E53.
Btw vacuuming the floor is easy, it’s the contoured sides that are difficult

Did you have the slide-out cargo floor or the standard floor in your X5?

This item claims to be specifically designed for the E53 and covers the sides and seat back as well. Looks a little loose-fitting to me...Maybe worth a try...ask the seller for better pics
