Where can I get this X5 trailer hitch cover??

Where can I get this X5 trailer hitch cover?? This is the one that came with the hitch option and fits perfectly and is not wide. I lost mine in a car wash. I used to see them at the dealership years ago but dealership says they're out of production and nowadays make the blank ones without BMW stamped on it and are large and ugly.

If you find 'em let us know. As mentioned they are NLA and everyone I see sells the black chunky ones. You try calling different dealers (especially larger ones) around the country to see if they have any NOS lying around?

I was lucky to find one on the parts truck I bought. I have since silicon'd it to the hitch to prevent accidental dislodging.

Been looking for that forever. Embossed letters are nice and subtle. Been using the blank for last few years. It's…fine.

BMW just introduced a new one but it looks a little too flashy for my taste (although it does have a lanyard that keeps it from falling off):

Interesting! I agree, a little too flashy but practical. May be I could paint over it. Thanks for your post, didn't know about this one!

$30 for a plastic cover! Sheesh, BMW.

If anybody has a good cost-effective one that looks decent, point me the right direction. I have never had a cover for mine and I would like to get one.
