The auxiliary electric fan is working all time Code 8d 2002 x5 4.4 Is this problem related to lower hose temp sensor ? |

It could be that your sensor is faulty or there is a poor connection. If I remember correctly, disconnecting the sensor will cause the fan to run.

Yes it will cause it to run when disconnected and if the plug looks good and was working previously AND you've done some work in there recently, check for a broken wire ( don't ask how I know)

Is the fan running also when ignition is turned off or only when ignition on pos. 2?

Then most likely like suggested lower coolant hose temp sensor or it's wiring.
