X Owners - BMWCCA to create an X Chapter!

The BMW CCA has opened a petition to start a non-geographic charter for X owners. I've signed, have you?? See article below and link within. We've got 147 signatures now, and only need 100 more before its voted on by the National Charter! This would be a non-geographic charter for the US and Canada, and can be your primary or secondary membership. See the link below to the article that has the BMWCCA link for the petition signature.

This would be a fun chapter considering X models represent over 50% of all US BMW sales!

WE'RE ALMOST THERE!!

Hey X Owners - and BMW CCA members -

We're almost there. Remember, signing the petition doesn't mean you're on the hook, but instead allows us to create a place for X users in North America! If you're a BMW CCA member, regardless if you still own an X or thinking about getting one, or even sold yours, please sign this petition.

Click the link below for the link to the petition!

Question Why BMW CCA ?

I don't know much about BMW CCA except they get $58 per year membership and I could not find any events or any other gatherings within easy driving distance from me here in Albuquerque. With absolutely no benefits that I could find beyond the organized activities, I see no compelling reason to join this organization. Maybe a nearby member can tell me why I am wrong?

I have to agree here. Sure it sounds cool, but... why? Are there THAT many X enthusiasts to warrant a separate chapter? Unfortunately, I think not... otherwise, feel free to convince me.

Three of the benefits if your section isn't active or you're not interested in that part are:

1. Membership reward program $250 to $1,500 back on new and CPO purchases. X1-X4 currently $500, X5-X7 $1,000. CPO are all $250.

You have to be a member for a year before this benefit kicks in, though there may be a reduction of that if you buy a three-year membership.

2. Roundel Magazine. Keeps you up to date on all things BMW. It includes a technical question section and free classified ads.

Edit: May 2020 issue arrived today. X6 M Unleashed is the cover story.

3. Member discounts on parts and accessories.
