That is the correct cable. Now run a continuity check on pins 7 and 8. When I got mine, it was not jumped and had to solder on a jumper. Make sure you provide the jumper on the cable, not on the car side.

Remember, this image is the port on the car (plug entry) so adjust your view on the cable accordingly. Don't jump pins 1 and 2, it won't work.

Looks like the cable end is screwed together. If it opens up you'll be able to see the soldered connection and it will be very obvious if pins 7-8 are shorted.

Ok thanks guys I removed cover and this is what it looks like. Am I looking for a jumper wire or what? I don't see anything jumped together.

If you have an Ohmmeter, check continuity between pins 7 and 8. I can't really tell from the pictures as they are not close enough. Solder a jumper wire from pin 7 to pin 8, that's what I did.

I ran a search on the LZLRUN K + D CAN cable and found this:

The cable should work for most cars after 2008. If yours is before you may have to bridge pins 7 and 8.

This would indicate that the cable is not bridged from the manufacturer and you will need to provide the jumper on pins 7 and 8.

B01x5 texted me and confirmed no continuity, he's in the process of soldering on a jumper now. Wish him luck he's not an expert with the soldering iron but he has done some decent surgery: had to solder a jumper back on a door window switch that broke off once.

Like mentioned there was no continuity between 7 and 8. I soldered a jumper from 7 to 8 and tested for continuity and jumper worked perfectly.

Hooked up laptop to car and get different errors now which I will attach. It seems INPA is actually able to read the DSC module and errors, which is a first. Everything is in German though...

Let me know what the next step is. Really appreciate the help!

Good, you're in. My advice would be to use Google Translate on your computer to decipher the errors in German. Then make note of those translated errors and then clear the codes and see what comes back. Some error codes can be from ages ago and or issues while working on your car. Then translate those returning or new fault codes and report back.

Have you pinned out the harness from the ABS module to the sensor connectors yet? It looks like either an ABS module fault or harness fault. Pinning out the harness costs nothing but maybe some others besides me can give some additional information.

Also Google your specific codes and see what results you can find on other forums. I would also advise swapping both left sensors with the right sensors and see if the issue stays on the left.
