I'm sure there are a few, plus a relay or two. That crossed my mind. Will try it.

The other thing that crossed my mind. The 4.8is couldn't be ordered without EhcII. Perhaps there is no provision for having an n62b48 without EhcII in the dsc at all? Perhaps I should try coding or to be an n62b44 without air? Think that would be a bad idea?

I dont think that would hurt anything. Give it a shot! Looks like that would be value 12?

Interesting. Could it be that all B46 and B48 only came with EHC2? So is there some actual problem besides that trouble code with diagnostics?

If you manually change the parameter value I would go with:
wert_01 (value_01)

AUTOMATIK+(M62B44,N62B44)+!LFEDER_2_ACHS+!SICH_FZG _UM
Auto gearbox + N62 -EHC2 -security vehicle (! = NOT)

Then this is the one I would try. My B46 has EHC single axle suspension with DSC not EHC2 with DXC...

Thanks for the input. Will give it a go later. Had to step away from it for a bit so I came to spend some time with my munchkins. They're great at putting car struggles in perspective.

Well boys... I don't want to count my chickens... but I think that's done the trick. I've not driven the car yet but the 5eb7 is no longer being thrown and the trifecta is OFF!!! I moved it forward and backward about 10 feet without issue. Tomorrow I'll take it for a bit of a drive and see what happens.

If this proves to solve the issue I'll be sure to post a DIY on how to properly 100% delete the EHCII system from a 4.8is. *Fingers crossed.*

Took Red on a ~15 mile shakedown at varying speeds today. No lights on the dashboard. Got home and scanned with the foxwell... Nothing reporting or pending from the DXC. I have some other errors from ZCS change on the LKM because it reset bulb error checking (I have LEDs) and I'm getting a brake force distribution error in the IKE (cluster) for I think the same reason. Will look into those more.

But it looks like things are fine with the dxc being coded to an n62b44.
