No doesn't go to the separator, I replaced the CCV system. It's a small diameter hard line (similar to the type of hard vac line that goes to the fuel filter) and doesn't attach to any part of the CCV.

I had several O2 sensors fail within a year. You definitely need to watch some real-time numbers and fuel trims. Odds are good it's an MAF problem or vaccum or exhaust leak (think sap gasket).
